Capital markets

CGF Bourse operates in the capital markets of the West African region via treasury bills programs, and through the issuing and trading of shares and bonds, thus allowing businesses to finance themselves at lower cost and to raise more funds. Stock and bond issues are most often made through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), which has previously
received the visa of the CREPMF (The Regional Market Regulatory Authority). Within this framework, CGF Bourse counsels and assists businesses in researching guarantees from specialized organizations and guides the operation all the way to the point of the delivery of funds. Issues are followed by a stock exchange listing in order to insure the complete liquidity of the securities. Since the opening of the BRVM (September 16, 1998), more than 600 billion FCFA have been raised by the companies and national treasuries of the UEMOA by way of IPOs.

CGF Bourse also handles over-the-counter trades, such as private placements for institutional investors.
